America Phone Book is a phone and name lookup site. Optery says it shows names, addresses and phone numbers to anyone who runs a simple search. Its removal route is a short form and does not describe an email or ID check.

How this guide was checked: we could not open this site's own opt-out page from our systems. The steps below come from third-party guides (DeleteMe and Optery) updated between July and September 2026, and we kept only the steps that more than one guide describes. Those publishers sell removal services, so treat them as a cross-check, not an official source. Where the guides differ, we say so. Follow the live prompts if the site looks different.

How to remove yourself from America Phone Book

1Search for your listing

Go to americaphonebook.com and search by first name, surname, city and state, or by phone number.

2Note the phone number and ZIP code

Find your listing and copy the ZIP code shown with it. DeleteMe says you need it for the form.

3Open the contact form

Use the Contact Us link in the footer or go to americaphonebook.com/contact.php.

4Submit the removal request

Enter your phone number and the ZIP code from the listing and click Request Removal. Both guides describe only these two fields.

5Save the confirmation

A confirmation page should appear saying the request was recorded. Optery says to submit a separate request for each listing.

How long it takes

The guides differ. DeleteMe says the listing should be removed within 3 business days, and Optery lists 24 to 48 hours. Allow three business days before you decide that it has failed.

Removal is one half of the job. Check whether your email has leaked as well.

Checking the result

Search America Phone Book again for your name and phone number. If the listing is still there after three business days, submit the form again. Cached copies can linger in search engines. See why removed information can still appear in search results and how to verify a removal.

If the listing returns

Neither guide says whether removed listings reappear, but both say people-search data changes constantly. Check again every few months and see what to do when removed information keeps reappearing.

A phone number on one site is usually on many. Continue with How to Remove Yourself From People-Search Sites, and see what an exposed phone number means.
