How to Remove Yourself From MyLife (2026 Opt-Out Guide)
MyLife markets itself as a reputation platform. Here is how to find your profile and submit a removal request.
Find your MyLife profile and copy its URL, open the Do Not Sell My Personal Information form, paste the URL with your name, state and email, complete the CAPTCHA and click Opt Out. Guides disagree on timing, so recheck after a few weeks.
Before you start opt-outs, see which known data breaches already include your email.

MyLife describes itself as a reputation platform, and one guide says profiles can carry a public Reputation Score built from background details, social media and reviews. Both guides we checked list work and education history, court records, photos and contact details among the information shown.
How to remove yourself from MyLife
1Find your profile
On the MyLife home page, scroll to the bottom, click the first letter of your last name, then narrow the name list until you find your profile. Both guides describe this alphabetical route.
2Copy the profile URL
Open your profile, close any pop-up that covers it and copy the web address from your browser. The removal form asks for it.
3Open the removal form
Use the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link in the MyLife footer. One guide gives the direct address mylife.com/privacyrequest.
4Fill in the form
Enter your name, state, the profile URL and an email address, then complete the CAPTCHA. The California box is only for California residents. One guide suggests a disposable email address.
5Click Opt Out
Submit the form. The guides then differ. One says you must verify by clicking a link in an email and that the listing should go within 15 business days. The other describes only an on-screen confirmation and gives no timeframe.
Checking the result
After the waiting period, load the profile address you saved and search for your name again. If it is still there, submit the form again and keep a screenshot. See how to verify a removal and why removed information can still appear in search results.
Removal is one half of the job. Check whether your email has leaked as well.

Why a profile can come back
Neither guide states how often MyLife relists profiles, but both say people-search data changes constantly. Check again every few months, and see what to do when removed information keeps reappearing.
Keep going
MyLife is one of many sites that combine public records. Continue with How to Remove Yourself From People-Search Sites, and our guides for Whitepages and Spokeo cover two more large ones.
