Updated September 14, 2026
TL;DR

Find your matching listing, use the PeopleConnect suppression route, complete verification, submit suppression, and recheck the result.

Before you start opt-outs, see which known data breaches already include your email.

Free · About 30 seconds · No sign-up · Email not stored

TruthFinder can expose names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, relatives, associates and other public-record details. Suppressing one listing does not erase the underlying source data.

How to remove yourself from TruthFinder

1Open the official suppression route

Start with TruthFinder's current privacy or PeopleConnect suppression route.

2Enter an email address

Use an email address you control and continue through the verification process.

3Verify your email

Open the verification message and follow its instructions.

4Identify your record

Provide the requested identity details and select the record that belongs to you.

5Submit and verify

Submit the suppression request, keep the confirmation, and search again after processing.

Important: Suppression affects the service listing. It does not remove the same information from other people-search sites, search engines or public records.

Removal is one half of the job. Check whether your email has leaked as well.

How to verify removal

Search again using the same name and location details. Check the original profile URL if you saved it.

Why information can return

People-search databases refresh from changing sources. A later update can create a new or changed listing.
